This print was Inspired by my friend Ceri who used to go out on evening hikes in search of the song of the elusive nightingale. Sadly their numbers have declined significantly due to climate change and habitat loss.
Printed by hand on to beautiful handmade Nepalese Lokta paper. You will see from the images that this paper is by its nature textured has an inconsistent finish, which is part of its charm.
The print is approx 30cm x 30cm. The paper approx 36 x 36. With Mount the overall size is approx. 40cm x 40cm. The paper is torn by hand to achieve a deckle edge so size of paper varies slightly.
If you choose ‘With Mount’ option the external size of the mount is: 40cm x 40cm
Print only option will be carefully rolled and put in a secure postal tube.
